The EchoAlert application improves patient adherence
to prescriptions. Whether in clinical trials, where the
effects can be costly and troublesome, or in the case of
retail prescriptions where patients and pharmacies
lose from missed dosages, EchoAlert can help.

EchoAlert is a patent-pending platform, geared primarily towards the biosciences industry, which has been designed to allow pharmaceutical companies to remotely monitor patient activities in order to ensure that they are complying with certain activities.

How It Works:
The application uses messaging on cell phones in a very simple way to achieve this purpose. Our server sends a regular message to the patient's cell phone (ie. the patient being monitored), who must respond in turn with a simple message, or some other key piece of information. In the event that the patient does not respond on schedule, further reminders will be issued, while a third party is to be notified so that they can follow up directly with the patient.
Simple To Use:
Monitors who use the system (e.g. lab teams) set up the system parameters using our simple web interface. Among other things, they can determine:
  1. Set up of different patients using their cell phone number (e.g. trial patients, etc.)
  2. The start and stop time of the service
  3. The interval of the check-in request message to the target
  4. When to alert the monitor (e.g. with every response, or only with lack of response)
  5. Who to alert in the event of notification
